Yacht Survey Adriatic d.o.o. is an independent marine surveying and technical consultancy company based in Split, Croatia.
We provide professional vessel inspection, assessment and consultancy services to private owners and buyers, finance and insurance institutions, yacht managers and marine industry professionals.
Our work covers motor yachts, sailing yachts, sailboats, sailing and motor catamarans and other recreational craft, including GRP, steel and aluminium construction.
Assignments range from pre-purchase and valuation surveys to structural investigations, damage assessment, warranty matters, new-build supervision and verification of complex repair and refit works.
Independence, factual reporting, clearly defined limitations and practical, proportionate recommendations form the basis of our work.

Domagoj Vakante — CEO & Marine Surveyor
Domagoj Vakante has 30 years of professional maritime and yachting experience.
His professional background spans commercial maritime operations and professional yachting, including yacht command, vessel management, maintenance, refit and technical project oversight. This operational and technical background subsequently developed into professional yacht surveying and consultancy.
Domagoj holds a university degree in Nautical Science and a Diploma in Yacht & Small Craft Surveying completed in Gosport, United Kingdom.
He is a member of the International Institute of Marine Surveying (IIMS) and continues his professional development through specialist technical training and practical surveying assignments.
His approach is based on systematic inspection, technical evidence, clear limitations and practical recommendations appropriate to the significance of the finding.
